I have not checked my GoogleReader in two weeks. Nothing has been added to this blog in over a month. That can only mean one thing: spring sailing.

For the past 12 springs, I have coached the St. George’s sailing team. This is pretty much a 24-7 job because it doesn’t stop when we get off of the water. For a few short months, I think about boat handling, team dynamics, and team racing starts. Not very academic, or intellectual, but a great break.

Several years ago, I started a “Beth’s School of Boat Handling” blog. Until the end of the school year, most likely, that is where you’ll find my posts. So, if you’d like to know how to roll tack a 420 or accelerate an FJ, check out flatisfast.blogspot.com. I’ve gone sailing.
