Here are a few sample book trailers that Mrs. Edwards and I found. They may help you as you think through your project.
This first one, for RULES, was done by a teacher as an example for middle school and high school students.

This one, for Call of the Wild, was created by a student.

You are capable of something in between (but closer to RULES). Here’s how this is going to work.
- Ms. Edwards is going to put you in groups. Your first job is to use the same graphic organizer as for the movie trailer to identify the components of your book that you will then use in your book trailer.
- We will take that graphic organizer and storyboard your book trailer so that you have an outline of what you are going to produce.
- Once you know what you are looking for, we will take time to find music, images, and video clips to produce your trailer. All media must be Creative Commons Licensed for reproduction. (We’ll talk about this later.)
- The entire thing will ultimately be put together in iMovie and then loaded onto our Vimeo site.
